DESCRIPTION:The Legacy of Suzy Lamplugh’s Disappearance: Tackling Stalking and Harassment in Today’s Society \nDate and Time:Tuesday\, 11th February 2025 at 5pm (GMT) \nLocation:Online on MS Teams \nSpeaker:Emma Lingley-Clark\, Interim CEO\, Suzy Lamplugh Trust \nEmma Lingley-Clark has been Interim CEO of the Suzy Lamplugh Trust since January 2024. She joined the organisation in 2018\, where she led the Multi-Agency Stalking Intervention Programme project before becoming Head of Policy and Interim Director for Services and Development. Prior to this\, Emma held a joint role with the police and local authority\, focusing on violence against women and girls\, modern slavery\, and Prevent\, alongside managing high-risk domestic abuse services and coroners services. Her extensive experience includes cross-agency collaboration across policing\, public health\, and local authorities to build shared services and improve strategic understanding of complex societal challenges. \nOverview:This lecture explores the enduring impact of Suzy Lamplugh’s disappearance and the critical work being done today to combat stalking and harassment.
